SHOW RULES
All entries must be made on the appropriate form or by e-mail and be received by the Chairman, Angela Ridge, not later than the date shown in the Schedule.
All exhibits must be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor and have been grown or made by him or her (excluding the Flower Arranging Classes).
Exhibits in all Divisions must be staged by 11.00 am. No entry will be accepted unless the entry fee of £1.00 has been paid on the Show day.
The Judges shall have the power to withhold any award for any exhibit which in their opinion is not of sufficient merit to be awarded a prize.
The judging of exhibits will be carried out according to the recommendations contained in “The Horticultural Show Handbook” (8th edn.) published by the Royal Horticultural Society, but where appropriate the Committee reserves the right to follow the recommendations of the National Societies.
On the relative merit of the exhibits the decision of the judges shall be final.
The Committee accepts no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, any exhibit while in transit or at the show, nor shall the Committee be liable for compensation for loss or damage from any cause whatsoever of or to any personal property, etc., of exhibitors or visitors to the show.
Exhibits must not be removed before 4.00 pm on the day of the show.
All flowers except those in floral arrangement classes shall be exhibited in green vases supplied, unless otherwise stated in the Schedule.
No exhibitor may enter more than one exhibit in any one class, and not more than one exhibitor may enter from one garden in the same class.
The Committee reserves the right of cancelling the competitions, accepting or refusing entries, withholding any or all of the prizes, and of determining any questions which may arise out of these regulations, and to alter these regulations as it may deem necessary.
Keep closely to the wording of the Schedule, the Judges are allowed no latitude.

COMPETITION RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS
In order to display any exhibit at the Annual Flower Show to be held on Saturday 24th July 2021 an entry form stating the classes for any such exhibits must be submitted.
All completed entry forms (inside back cover) must be
sent in by e-mail, by hand or by telephone before
4.00 pm on Tuesday 20th July 2021 to:

THERE IS AN ENTRY FEE OF £1.00
which covers all your entries to the Show and
grants membership of the Society for the calendar year. This is payable on the day of the Show upon entry to the Hall.
